vacation.... we usually go away end of august, but financially we don't want to spend the extra money this year. so i don't think we're going to go anywhere, which bums me out. i'm still trying to find deals. Are you going away any time soon? if so, where? go ahead, make me jealous!

With the house projects this year, we aren't able to do much. We went to a friend's in Cincinnati and that's about it for this year. We were really hoping to do something for our 5 year wedding anniv. in October.

Now with my 2 weeks off work coming up, I won't have the vacation time to do anything. We're hoping in the Spring of next year to go on a belated Anniversary trip.

Ha - no. Highly doubtful! We try to go to Texarkana, AR to the house we have up there, but I don't know if we will do that this year. Last year, the week we were going to go (I was Oing) and we had to evacuate (Hurricane Ike) and my IL evacuated with us. Needless to say, no BDing when we had to share a room with my son and my IL's were down the hall. We haven't really discussed if we will go this year or not - all it requires us to pay is for food cause my FIL owns it and he pays all the utilities on it. We won't go till school starts back up - sometime in September.

I need a vacation too! I've been dying to get to the beach somewhere and just relax but we're not really going anywhere this summer. I do live in a tourist town with a beautiful lake and tons to do, but it's not the same as "going" somewhere!

We tried to go to New Hampshire last month, but I had to work. The summer is DH's busy season at work too, so taking time off is difficult. We might go to New Hampshire in September for their Seafood festival, but I'm not sure about that yet. We do little day trips on the weekends in August though, so that breaks up the summer!

We are going to Vegas, Nov. 22-26. We love Vegas and go about 2 times a year and we continually save for it.

Our rooms are comped at Harrah's, but we have found that because of the economy the Palazzo is offering deals that are affordable to us middle class folk.

I'm real positive about the upcoming IUI, so this will probably be our last Vegas vacation for awhile!!!

Hubby is working in London at the end of Sept so I am meeting him there in the first week october and we going to Italy and Croatia for 2 weeks. I havent been to Europe and last month hubby said we can go anywhere i like (he usually picks the place)..... so i am so excited. I studied art and am a construction engineer so i love that kind of stuff and cant wait to see what i have studied......
