This morning I woke up with a really really bad pain in my left shoulder that radiates down my arm to my fingers and then down to my butt. Fun! I honestly don't know what I did. I've been taking advil and icing it in between trying to cook with my MIL (I think I'm more of a hinderance than a help). Poor DH thinks it was from BDing yesterday morning. If it continues to be bad, I'll head to the Dr for sure on Monday, but here's my question...

Anybody BD with only one good arm? I can't imagine it'll be very easy, but I'm bound and determined! I made such a big stink about skipping the HSG and DH having to give it his all this weekend and next week as far as BDing, that I'd hate to be the hypocrit!

DH's Grandmother said I need one of those shoulder immobilizers and all I could think was "wow, now theres a turn on!"... LOL. Why do we always seem to have these silly issues at O time?!?!?

LOL! Aren't you so lucky Cris! I love the comment from your grandmother! I hope your arm feels better!

hey girl, just something my dr. told me - she told me that advil and motrin are NOT to be taken during ttc especially around O time. there is something with ibuprophene that hinders fertility. that is why they don't allow pregnant women to take it either - Only Tylenol. thought i would pass that on to you! i know i was in another section of the board and they were talking about it too.

i hope you feel better, and remember, you gotta do, what you gotta do!!!! now get busy!!! and if you get an imobilizer, get a lacy one!! "wink"

You girls are too funny... I'm feeling a bit better today which is strange considering I did a lot of stuff yesterday with the arm. We did BD and it was interesting, but DH was very cautious thankfully. I don't think I'll be needing the "Lacy Immobilizer" anymore.

Lynda- thanks for the heads up about the advil. I did know that and I have actually been taking tylenol (well the generic of it). It's the only pain reliever I have in the house since we've been ttc. I don't know why, but whenever I talk pain meds, I call everything Advil which is a bad habit. I've stopped taking it since last night. I really don't like taking things like that anyway. Thank you though for the reminder!
