I know many (if not most) of you read TTC#1 grads board, but figured I'd post here too for the few of you I know who don't. I can't believe I'm almost half way!

We had our 19 week appointment and ultrasound today and everything was perfect! The baby was measuring 19 weeks and 1 day, which is exactly where I knew I should be based on ovulation date. That makes 40 weeks on December 28th, although my technical due date won't change (December 26th). The baby was 6 inches and 9 ounces.

The Dr said all of my blood work came back great, my risk of Down's syndrome is 1 in 4,500. Based solely on my age, the risk would have been 1 in 700.

I only gained 2 pounds since my last appointment and 7 pounds overall! Now...that doesn't include the 5 pounds or so I probably gained before my first appointment, but on the record, I've only gained 7 pounds total!

And we stuck to our guns and asked not to know gender! I will admit I was a little curious, but kept telling myself no! Here are some pictures.

Awwwww. He or she is so beautiful! That first pic is an awesome shot! Good for you for sticking to your guns and not finding out the gender. That is our plan for our baby too! I am so happy for you!

Congrats again, Christine! I love the pics!! You and Randy are so strong to ask them not to tell you the gender!!! I'd totally give in!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

What an absolutely beautiful baby!

It is so wonderful that everything is good and normal!!! I know you have to be excited and overjoyed!

I could never hold out on the gender though, I have too many plans not to know the gender!

christine, great to hear from you. i wonder how you are doing all the time!!! thanks for the photos, brought tears to my eyes!!!! so beautiful!!!! i wish you the absolute best, enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, it goes so darn fast!!! are you wanting a boy or a girl? or doesn't matter? HUGS, so good to hear from you!!!
