I've lurked for long enough...

Hey everyone, my name is Kari (27) and DH is Brian (28) we are working on TTC#1 and have been at it for 2 years now. I started off last year on JM and kind of skipped over this forum but have always lurked. I did not think that I would belong since we had already been trying for over a year when I joined. Anyway, I have PCOS and am completely annovulatory. DH is perfectly fine. We have done our fair share of the testing and started off with our OB doing TI and clomid. We quickly realized we needed to move on to an RE and get some serious help. This is our second cycle with our RE. I am on Metformin for possible insulin resistance, although my last tests showed I wasn't anymore, Re says it might help and wouldn't hurt b/c of the PCOS. I'm currently in the 2WW and am trying to keep myself busy. We just finished up our first round of injectables with IUI... my beta is on the 12th but I'll start testing at home on Saturday, which is 10dpiui.

Anyway, that's more than you really need to know I'm sure... hope I get to know you all a little better. I definitely recognize some of you from other boards!

Welcome to the group Kari!!! I'm Amanda (28) and DH is Michael (26), we have been TTC #1 for 2 years and 7 months now, with a couple breaks in between. We have had two miscarriages this year, but are hopeful that our sticky bean is right around the corner.
I'm soo sorry that you have had such a journey with TTC. I hope that this weekend you get your BFP!!! If for some reason you don't we are a great support system to have and will help you through it.
