Glad everything went well, Jackie. Rest up, still praying for a quick recovery. Don't be afraid to take your pain medicine. Studies have shown that people who try to "though it out" heal slower than those who take their pain meds. Nurse Ashley's orders....stay drugged! LOL! We love you girl!

Enjoy your recovery, think of the perks: pain drugs that Nurse Ashley is encouraging you to take, DH waiting on you, and not having to do any housework! Get well soon!!

Thank you all SO much for thinking of me. I slept until a little bit ago and actually got up and had a bowl of soup and some crackers (and held it down!) yay! I'll post all the details over the weekend or afterwards, once I get all caught up on sleep and when I'm finally not drowsy.. eek. I haven't taken the pain meds (more Percocet that I just don't want to take), but I was also prescribed 600 mg of Motrin so I've just been taking that. I am groggy enough without those hardcore meds.
As a quick synopsis, there was a ton of endo, and for whatever reason my surgeon (who works with my RE) told me that IVF will be our best option (which I'm not even sure is an option for us)... not sure what that was all about, but I guess I'll find out in 3 weeks at my post-op.
HUGS ladies! Hopefully I'll be back soon.

Just figured I would pop in and say hi. The pain is still very manageable, but now I am very shaky and nauseated. Boo. I was up feeling very sick at 6am, so Jon made me some toast and I took more Motrin and went back to sleep for a few hours. I've now just been out on the couch, but I am entirely ready to go back to sleep. My tummy is just so upset. I had a 3-day anti-nausea patch behind my ear, but I took it off for whatever reason last night and now I'm feeling the effects of it... oops. Jon is taking real good care of me, so hopefully I'll start feeling better soon. Good thing I'll be off for 2 weeks, because I swear I'll be groggy that long!

I'm sorry that you're not feeling crappy. Take it easy and let Jon wait on you hand and foot! Hopefully everyday you'll feel a little bit more like yourself!

I am so sorry that your not feeling great Jackie!! I hope your recovery speeds along and you are back to feeling 100% in no time! In the mean time, remember to use your two weeks of to RELAX!! As far as IVF being your only option I would definitely be interested to hear his reasoning behind that. And if it truly is your best option just remember that there are lots of programs out there to help with the costs and tons of support groups. I am still super nervous about our IVF but super excited at the exact same time. I just want to wish you luck!! Feel better!
