Hi! I'm Cary (31) and I have lurked and posted on some of the other boards, but I think that this may be the board for me. My dh (Steven 37) and I have been ttc since January. I had a m/c in early March and was hoping to conceive soon after, but have not yet. I just started charting in July and I'm almost through a complete cycle. I'm just sitting here waiting for AF to show (because I know she's coming ) and I'm getting so down about this whole process. We haven't told anyone that we are trying and I know dh is sooo tired of hearing me talk about this so I was thinking maybe I could just post here and get some support from others.

A little background... I have three children from a previous marriage, so I know its possible for me to get pg. I had an IUD (copper, no hormones) for about 6 years. I have a question, though. I did get pg in Feb and I was wondering if there could possibly be a problem with dh's (he's never had kids) sperm even though we did manage to get pg once. I've talked to him about getting tested and he is really against getting a SA at this point. He wants to wait until spring of next year. I think that once spring rolls around he will want to put it off again. Has anyone else had a m/c but later found out that dh's swimmers were not the best?

Happy Friday!!

-Cary

Cary. I'm sorry about your loss. I had a loss last year. My DH is not thrilled with the idea of doing a SA either. In fact it took him 5 months just to book the appt. I don't know what it's like where you live, but many Drs. won't even suggest any testing until at least 6 months or up to a year of TTC. Hopefully you won't need to worry about it.

Welcome Cary! I'm so sorry about your loss. I hoe your stay here isn't a long one, but this a great family to lean on for support!

I'm Cris married to Shawn and we've been trying for our first baby for 2 years.
