Just thought for anybody else thinking about or taking it we could compare side effects, lol!

Pre-O side effects
While taking the pills I was very emotional and cried about EVERYTHING!
I also had really low temps after I got done taking it.
I felt ovulation pains for the first time, on both sides!
Acne has a whole new meaning to me! I thought it was bad before, now I have HUGE red bumps all along my jawline and even on my neck, ewww.
(any suggestions on how to combat them would be appreciated! I am already using extra stregth proactiv, which usually keeps my face relatively acne free.)
More CM than usual, before and after O

Post-O side effects
I am really bloated, more bloated than I have ever been before in my life I think.
I am also really tired. I can sleep for my normal 6-8 hours a night and still be so tired the next day I take a nap. Yesterday I took a 4 hour nap, yes 4 hours, I know it's crazy!
Nausea is horrible as of 3 dpo, way too early to mean anything, but can ANYTHING mean anything on Clomid? LOL

I am just entering the 2ww so I'm sure I'll have all kinds of IPS I can add to this post later on, but I wanted to get the pre-O ones down before I forgot them.

I'm taking femara....no side effects!!! I've never been on clomid though. As for the acne, if you could get a prescription...Clindamycin works wonders. I had a reaction to zinc oxide last summer which resulted in a skin infection and got that....now when I get a huge zit....I put it on and the next day you wouldn't even know!!!

Other than that, I've heard that dabbing apple cider vinegar will help with acne although I've never tried it.

Those sounds almost identical to me when I'm on Clomid. About the acne I have no words of wisdom, I take the same extra strength proactiv and it doesn't work for me while I'm on Clomid. I wish you the best though!!!

I'm always interested in hearing what others have to say about Clomid. After talking to my doc yesterday she is going to have DH do a SA, me get bloodwork & also do a sonohysterogram prior to prescribing it for me. What cycle days do you take it ?? Any other special instructions ?? I just hear about side effects & want to know as much as possible. Thanks!

I took it 5-9, as far as I can remember the only special instructions I had were to take it at the same time every day. I took mine around 8:00, just in case I had any bad side effects, but I didn't.
