What is going on in your lives this weekend?


I have no clue - it is DH's friends bi-weekly laundry trip (we have his W&D cause he didn't have hook ups at his old apartment and we didn't have a W&D when we moved into the house).

MOVING.. i can not believe its time.. by next weekend we will officially be in our new place.. i can't believe it.. the time has come up so fast..monday my friend will come over to my house and help me move things over.. and i have to clean the old apt.

Fun - moving is fun and tiring. We moved in August 3 years ago, though I was 3 weeks PP too so that would also make it even more tiring. LOL

have fun moving! I just did it a couple months ago...

we have a fun filled weekend planned... cleaning out the garage and unpacking all the boxes left in the future nursery. Although I am not too excited about that being a completely empty room

I can hardly contain myself it's going to be so much fun!

But on a good note DH got a promotion today! He thought he wasn't going to get it even though they told him he interviewed well, but he got the news today that it's official, he got it! He's really excited about the new position and I know he's worked hard and I'm glad to see it working for him. I'm so proud of him

Wow... sounds like you ladies have some FUN plans! Be sure to find something fun to do if you can!

Saturday, DH and I are going to the local horse racing track with my family. We'll make picnic lunch, hang out and bet on the horses (and maybe some beer if AF shows). It's going to be pretty fun... Maybe I'll win big!

Sunday is DH's birthday... I'm not sure yet how he wants to spend the day, but I'll try to make it special and we'll have dinner with his parents (I think). I ordered him an ice cream cake from the BEST ice cream place in town so I'm excited!

My grandpa fell and broke his hip on Wed morning and had surgery on Thursday afternoon so my weekend will be spent with him at the hospital and then back at the nursing home helping him through re-hab. DH and I are going to have a date night with grandpa tomorrow night at the hospital.

Amanda- I'm so sorry about your grandfather! You're so sweet to help take care of him and to have your date night with him too! I'm sure he really appreciates having you taking care of him!

I am planning my first ever trip to the rodeo tonight! I'm kind of excited about it. It's actually my b-day today. So after that we are going out for some drinks and apps at a local Mexican restaurant.

Not sure about the rest of the weekend. Probably just relaxing and enjoying summer!

No real plans- I'm still slow moving, although moving around better than I was and today I am only spotting! I think the bleeding is finally stopping from the surgery- although AF should only be about a week away It's going to be hot, so I'm sure we'll be inside doing stuff (or lack thereof).
