You are on 100mg of Clomid right? Did you ever do 50 mg? Were your side effects much worse with the 100mg or not much different. I have only taken the 50 and the side effects had become mostly unnoticeable. I am wondering what I am in for in a few days.

I know I am not Amanda, but I have taken both doses. I didn't notice a difference in the hot flashes, they were about the same, but I did notice feeling myself O much more (had to take ibprofen) and I felt really tender and bloated in my abdomen. I never really had any emotional SEs. Overall, I wouldn't say that it was that bad.

I have to agree with Ash about the only thing that I noticed different was the O pains which I never had untill 100mg, because that's the first time that I O'd that I know of. I did have cramps from the day that I ovulated on. It's not bad. I hope that it will be the same for you.

can i add my 2 cents? i always take 50mg but one cycle i tried 100 and my side effects went CRAZY!!! so we went back down to 50mg. but i think everyone is different. hopefully you won't notice much difference!!!! common clomid!!!

Just adding my two cents since I have taken anywhere from 50mg to 200mg

For me I didnt notice any real distinct changes. I did have more intense O pains on 150mg but not on 100mg...and I think it was simply because I had two larger follicles instead of 1 average but I did use a trigger shot each time....I will say on 150 mg and up my hot flashes seemed to occur more often, but they werent any more intense. I really didnt have much for side effects at all though...I didnt mind Clomid other than the fact that it didnt work!!! haha
