Thank you so much for asking about me. You are sweet!
Unfortunately, I'm a mess right now.
The good news is, my spotting has pretty much stopped. It never turned red, or even pink, just brown, and I never had to wear anything. My mom also told me she had spotting with all 3 of us girls.
So, I'm not worried about that too much at all anymore. Now I have something else I'm very upset over.
Here goes:
I went to the doctor for my blood test this morning. My doctor is off all week, but the nurses are in. She had already given me the paper work for the blood test, just in case. WEll, while I was there, I decided to get a urine preg test too.
First, let me recap my test results from the weekend. 4 positive tests starting from 10 dpo to today, 13 dpo. The first 2, faint, but positive. (appearing within the first 2 -3 minutes)
I took one sunday morning, MUCH darker and quicker. I took one this morning, and the positive was showing up before the control line was even there! Nice and dark! So, I'm convinced after 4 positives, i have to be!
I'm officially 2 days late. I'm normally 2 days EARLY for my periods - so if you count that, I'm 4 days late!!!
I used FMU with all my home tests.
OKay, TODAY - urine test at the doctor: NEGATIVE.
I almost fell over.
Now, this wasn't FMU, and it was after a coffee, and urine that had only been in my bladder for about 1.5 - 2 hours max.
(could that be issue??)
I won't get my blood test back till tomorrow morning. So, in the meantime, I'm a mess. I'm so sure she'll tell me its NEGATIVE.
ugh.
PS - I bet your wishing you didn't ask now, eh?? lol
Thanks again.

Don't give up. It took my Urine test at the DR a while to show up when I had mine done. They only give it about 3 min then they throw it away I had a faint BFP after the 3 min. and I was 4.1 weeks. Please post as soon as you can tomorrow I will be thinking about you all day!!!

Really??? how did you know - did they look at yours longer, or did you get to see it after??
Was yours FMU???
So how late where you when you went??
Don't you think it would be VERY odd to have 4 false positives???
THANKS!!!!!!!

I think that it would be very odd to have 4 BFP and not be pregnant! When I went in I went at 4 PM and I had only held it for a little over an hour. Did you test again today? I was 4 weeks and 1 day by my LMP and the DR is now dating me 4 days back. Just keep us updated!

The nurse called me back and said my blood tests confirmed a possible pregnancy. I said, 'a possible????" I'm thinking either I AM, or I'm not!!
She said my numbers were 65, and because it's early, she wants to recheck them in a few days. I asked her if 65 was too low at 13dpo - and she said no - but of course, now I'm worrying that they are. I am stuck on why she said "possible pregnancy"? Mabye its b/c the doctor wasn't there, and she has to watch what she says to patients? I did some checking of hcg levels, and from what i understand, 65 at 13dpo is above average. (does anyone know anything about that?)

Congrats! Just doing a quick search online, your number is above average for 13 DPO. I also ran through the DDCs and some of the posts about hCG and found that your number is just right! (FYI, I followed up on some of the ladies, too, and they're still having nice, healthy pregnancies!) I really, really, really hope this is it for you! The important thing, of course, is how they double, and even then, the doubling time can be slightly off and you can be healthily pregnant!!! When are you getting tested again?!

Thank you so much!!!
They are checking my levels again next week. I'm still having some spotting off and on, so I'm worried about that of course. I swear, It's ALWAYS something. What a nerve wracking week it's been.

I know how stressful the waiting and wondering and hoping is. Spotting has to be about the scariest thing for you, too. I certainly hope that your levels are rising significantly and that the spotting stops altogether! (I KNOW that they say that spotting can be perfectly normal, but SHEESH! how can you NOT worry when blood is coming out of you?!) I wish I knew the answer for not worrying about it all, but I don't have it. I worry about everything. Every. Teeny. Thing. I REALLY hope that you get some reassurance from your test next week. Will it just be a blood draw, or an appointment to see the doc as well?
