when it's your second day in a row of positive opk and DH has had a crappy day? I only have 45 minutes with him tonight before I have to be at work which only complicates things more. I'm thinking that I will have dinner cooked already and then when he gets home give him a massage and hope that leads into some BDing. I really want him to be happy and at the same time I really want to make sure that we cover our bases!!

I asked DH what he thought would work and he quickly changed the subject!

I think your plan sounds good- but you may have to be more aggressive if he's still in a crappy mood. I'm sure you can think of something that would make him happier.

It did...but it wasn't the best BDing ever. I could tell that he was really stressed out through the whole thing. I gave him the massage and cooked him dinner. AFterwards he asked, "Did you get another positive today?" I told him yes, and he said, "Life doesn't stop for trying to conceive a baby!!!" He was determined that we were not going to waste this cycle. I felt guilty afterwards though. I hate how things always seem to happen right around O time, does anyone else have this happen often?

Yep.... last cycle the night that we trigger DH and I got in a HUGE fight. It sucked. We ended up not BDing that night, like we were suppose to and BDing right away the next morning. I as so angry through the whole thing because it should haven't to be this hard to start a family!

I'm glad you were able to get things done. I'm sorry that it wasn't ideal... I have come to realize that nothing about TTC is really ever ideal anymore.

Hope you caught that eggie!

oh now how many times has that happened to me... my DH's job is VERY VERY Stressful and sometimes that really interfere's with BDing on a schedule. I will be so happy when BDing on a schedule is behind me!!!! glad you got the spermies where they needed to be!!! I guess there are WORSE things we could make them do right??????

Glad you got it in but sorry it wasn't the best. Last cycle was rough on us - couldn't I Ovulate AFTER AJ's birthday. It was crazy.

I hope you caught the eggie(s)! Crossing my fingers for you!

I'm sorry that it wasn't the bes Bding, but at least you covered your bases... I have been in your shoes FAR too many times to count. DH works nights and sleeps during the day so by the time he wakes up, I'm ready to go and he's just being grouchy and lazy. MEN! I hope you got that eggie anyhow!

I am glad and at the same time sad for all of us that this is so common among us all. I keep promising myself that this will all be worth it one day. Ash said it best when she said "more than anything I hate what this has done to our sex life." Amen to that. I miss the days of spontaneous, fun, enjoyable sex.
