Um half of the things I own! LOL... I'm a pack rat for sure. The only time I really get things cleaned and organized is when I'm mad. Somehow, I get rid of unimportant things and keep the important stuff.

I am totally the opposite of a pack-rat. I had to move too often when i was little and by the time I was 10 was packing up my own room.... it makes you NOT want to hold on to anything! My husband on the other hand... I can't get him to get rid of ANYTHING! Who needs a 20 year old joy stick that doesn't work for anything?????

I tend to hold onto things that were given to me by others. My great aunt bought me a teapot the Xmas before she died. I never use it anymore but I can't seem to get rid of it. The funny part is that she didn't even pick it out. My mom went shopping for her that year because she was sick. I know that my aunt wouldn't have cared either

the only thing that I haven't been more than glad to get rid of is my childhood furniture, and I don't even want to use it for our children. It's just that it's been with me since I was born. sad I know

Right now, the only thing that I need to get rid of is my old couch. It's still in my garage. I do have someone to get it, we just haven't coordinated meeting yet. Other than that, I am definitely NOT a pack rat. I totally throw everything away and usually keep one or two sentimental items.

I have a bag full of cards... birthday and anniversary cards. Some are from my Grandparents, some of which are gone, and Jon's Grandma, who is gone. There's no need to keep these cards, but I can't seem to make myself throw them out!

I moved alot but it was for college and so I've learned not to keep things either. I want to get rid of an old hutch that dh has stored for his step mom, but he keeps getting sucked into keeping it.

We have no where to put it, so it just sits there all alone in an empty room. I think I'm going to use it for the baby changing table though. Maybe!
