Has anyone heard of this? My coworker told me she was looking through an old "home remedies" book the other day and fell across a small tidbit on fertility. It mentioned in there that if you carry an acorn, it will increase fertility. Obviously, I'm not asking if you all believe in this or whatever, but after this many months, I am willing to give it a shot. She was sweet enough to find a baby acorn over the weekend (it was still on its fallen branch) and brought it in to me yesterday. I am carrying it in my left pocket- the same side it feels I will be O'ing from this cycle.
At lunch today I decided to google it, and I did find that "herbal studies" show acorns to point towards increased fertility! So you may think I'm crazy, but I'm going to carry this baby acorn around with me every day this cycle!

I have never heard that in all my reading! That's crazy. I admit, I would have done it too had I known! I hope soooo much that it works for you!
If you carry two, will you get twins?

I don't know! I don't have any trees with acorns on them, but I should ask my coworker for another! HAHA!
I don't seriously "believe" it will work, but I love reading about this stuff. I spent some time reading about fertility symbols and statues today. If I don't stop, my hubby is going to think I'm seriously nuts.

Absolutely, Ash!!
I did ask my coworker for another one and she said she'd look for one. She said she wants to bring in a cup and put a branch in it with a few acorns attached, but if I end up with 3 or 4 little ones, not to come to her and yell at her! LOL I told her I'd hang on to just the two! So now I am waiting for another!

That's so interesting! I think I'll mosey on outside tomorrow and grab me an acorn or two to start carrying around! Hey- what can it hurt right?
Somewhere in my house I have two acorns that are stuck together. They grew that way and my friends mom said it was good luck and gave it to me... Maybe that's what you need for twins!!! I'll look for it and post a picture!

Unfortunately there are no acorns in my part of the world Can anyone send me a couple? I'll try anything - I even pinned a fertility pendant to the inside of my waistband everyday for 2 cycles!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that got into this idea!!
If I get more acorns, I'll let you know. Cris has them right outside, so maybe she can hook you all up that don't have them! Wouldn't it be amazing if this magically led to a BFP storm in here!

Ok, I had to fend off hungry squirrels, chipmunks and curious neighbors (I told them I was doing a craft project)... but I got a TON and there are still lots out there!
There are big ones, baby ones, ones that grew together (maybe for twins?)... if you want some let me know and I"d be happy to get them to you! I think I have enough for you all
The "Fertili-Tree" (hopefully) LMAO:

Any other takers?
