My name is Nikki (34) and DH is Danny (31) and we have been actively TTC our first child for 6 months now. We spent the past 5 years using no protection... figuring that if we got pregnant, we'd be really happy about it, but we weren't actively trying. I started taking my temps back in August of last year, but I wasn't actually "charting". I just took my temp and wrote it down, I never did a cover line or checked CM or anything like that.

I started charting properly back in April of this year. I went back and charted out all of my old temps from August going forward. That's when I discovered that I had experienced a couple of cycles with LPD's. I had a 5 & 7 day LP. I began taking B6 and have since had LP's ranging anywhere from 12-14 days.

I also had a lack of EWCM when I began charting. One of the girls on TTC #1 recommended Robitussin. That seemed to help for a couple of cycles, then last month before I got a chance to start taking it, I made my own for the first time in a very long time and it lasted for 7 days. I am hoping to have it show up again this month.

Starting this cycle was much more difficult than my others. I think the fact that I am going to be turning 35 one week from today is probably weighing on my mind coupled with the fact that last cycle we think that we had a fertilized egg and experienced implantation failure.

I experienced some spotting at 7 DPO and it continued until 10 DPO. I NEVER spot. I get a touch of pink tinged CM the day that AF starts, but that's it. I had a ton of symptoms... fatigue, frequent urination, very sore bbs, etc. The spotting started up again around 12 DPO and at what would have been 14 DPO, I began bleeding.

DH has been beyond fantastic. He's been so supportive, sensitive, loving and wonderful. Everything I need or ask for, he takes care of. He takes whatever he needs to to boost his own fertility as well and is so encouraging each and every month. I truly could not ask for more in that department.

I've generally hung around TTC Your First Child and I am co-host of the Fertility Charting board. So... since we are on Cycle #6, I figured I'd mosey on over here. I'm actually going to be in my fertile phase in the days leading up to my birthday... so I'm crossing my fingers for some birthday luck.

Yes Nikki its great to have a group of vets here who understand the frustration and you don't find the newbies coming in here that freak out and then get their BFP on their first cycle like we have in TTCYF sometimes. These ladies are great and FULL of wonderful information!! No one deserves the BFPs more than the ladies of TTC 6+!!

Glad you're here. While I don't post in here much, i check in on everyone frequently!!
