IS KICKING MY A**!!!!

I was at lunch with one of my friends last Friday, and a hot flash hit me like a ton of bricks - OMG is all I have to say!!!! I thought I was on fire!!!!! This is my last cycle for Clomid so my dr. upped the dosage to 100mg for one last hurrah, since i've had such luck getting pregnant on it. I'm worried it's thinning my lining of my uterus (thus last chemical pregnancy)... So we're on to Femara next cycle. I'm trying to drink raspberry leaf tea to calm my body. I hope I don't have another hot flash like that again!!!

50 mg kicked my butt, so I can't even imagine what 100mg would do to me! You're a trooper- hopefully this upped dosage does the trick for you!!

You'll love femara....my only side effect is that I'm really tired the first couple of days. I mean within 10 minutes of popping the pill - I'm ready to go to bed and then I don't want to get up! But if that is all I'm dealing with...I'll take it!

I had similar issues with the 100mg this cycle. Even after I was done with the clomid I continued to get the mega hot flashes. And the O pains were horrible. Mine hit while at the grocery store and my 33lb son wanted me to carry him - um no, mommy has a tummy ache. LOL

I am one of few that actually experienced none, absolutely zippo side effects. This was my first cycle of 50mg. I just took the last one today. I was SO worried about having all of the symptoms you girls mentioned too! I believe my ob doc will do up to 3 cycles then turn me over to an RE. I am hoping I dont have to go that far though because honestly I dont think DH is on the same page when we have to go that far down the line. I am just praying and praying and praying......

jen, i didn't have any side effects at 50mg either, but the 100mg is really really bad!!! i'm going to be so happy to be off of it!!!

jackie, thanks, i'm tired of being a trooper, i want to be a preggo!!! heheheheh LOL and I know you do too, and everyone else here for that matter

christina, i laughed out loud reading, umm no, mommy has a tummy ache!!! i'm waiting patiently for those O Pains. I usually get them. Did you O around the same time on the 100mg as you did on 50?

Amanda, I pray too that I don't need the femara!!! but glad it's there if i do!!! hot flashes stink. Is that what we have to look forward to in menopause? i'll pass, thanks!!!

Lee Ann, i'm not sure why dr's try clomid first when femara has been very successful without side effects. my dr. told me it's because the FDA hasn't approved Femara for use for fertility. I guess it's a cancer drug, or something related to breast cancer. not sure...
