so let's all give a short recap about our ttc journey...

i'm lynda and i've been ttc for 20 months. I have had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. I have done 6 rounds of clomid, three have been successful but none have resulted in a healthy baby YET! I'm currently on my last round of clomid and then i move on to Femara. Sick of clomid drying up all my cm! I do weekly acupuncture with an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility. My cycles are finally seeming normal again (6mths post m/c). I try to keep the faith, but it gets really hard sometimes!! we do not have the financial ability to seek medical assistance, although i've started a savings account just in case - wink wink

I'm Lee Ann and I am on month 19 of ttc our first child. I see an ob/gyn who specializes in infertility and we began testing back in June. My hsg showed clear tubes and dh s/a showed high tail abnormalities and high viscosity. So my doc recommended an IUI. First IUI was done in August....and I found out at that time that a prior LEEP surgery I had almost 8 years ago has left my cervix with scarring, so I have been diagnosed as cervical factor infertility. We are now on our second IUI cycle - and I've taken femara with both IUI's.

I'm Jackie and we're in month 22 of ttc our first. I had a few annovulatory cycles a few months after I stopped BCP (threw those out in August 2007) so after 8 months my OB/GYN started me on Clomid. I was having pretty bad pains with AF (even went to the hospital one cycle to get a CT scan, etc., because they thought it was my appendix), but on medicated cycles the pain wasn't as bad. After 3 cycles of Clomid- all unsuccessful- we took a meds break, DH had an s/a done (came back normal) and I had an HSG done (right tube end was partially blocked). I did a 4th cycle of Clomid while waiting for my RE appointment. After cd 3 b/w and u/s with my RE, a slightly low morphology number from DH's followup s/a, I was referred to an GYN specialist to have a lap done, along with a hysteroscopy, chromotubation, and d&c done and DH was requested to have a 3rd s/a done. My surgery was successful (August 6th), but a lot of endometriosis was left behind due to the location-- if removed, it could cause more scar tissue which would further hinder our ttc efforts. DH's s/a came back better, with still *slightly* low morphology numbers. I'm now in my first post-op cycle, and my body is still O'ing on its own- which has happened since I started Clomid so long ago. I will try one more unmedicated cycle before going to see my RE again on October 14th to start a new plan. I'm hoping not to get that far!!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.

I am Ashley and we are in month 21 of TTC our first. I have never been pregnant. We have done four rounds of Clomid with mid-cycle ultrasounds, and post-o progesterone monitoring. I did one cycle of 50mg Clomid and 3 rounds of 100mg. I released 2-3 eggs for each of the 100mg cycles. We had a normal SA and normal HSG. We haven't had a medicated cycle since sometime in the spring (I think) because we were just kind of tired of all of the doctors appointments, stress, and etc. I am also not temping at all. This month, I have decided to add CBEFM and CM monitoring back to our regimen. I am currently on CD 13, so waiting to O. I think if I haven't gotten pregnant by my November (which is when I have my annual) then I will talk with my doctor about a further plan. December 13th will make two years of TTC. *sigh*

I'm Amanda, not really sure which month I'm on because of the miscarriages and michael's deployment but we threw out the BC on the first of December 2006. Still TTC #1. In may 2008 my Ob/GYN decided that he would start doing some testing, bloodwork on me, and a S/A for DH. His S/A came back normal but I never found out the numbers. We started on Clomid a few cycles later when I showed him my temping charts and it showed that I was having annovulatory cycles. Did one cycle at 50 mg, didn't O. The next cycle he bumped it up to 100mg, we got pregnant, the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks but I made it to 12 weeks by dates...had to have a D&C. We took two cycles off of meds to see if I would O on my own...it didn't happen. Went back on Clomid 100mg in April of this year, got pregnant, The baby stopped growing at 5 weeks but I made it to 7 weeks by dates. Took three cycles off of clomid but still used opk's to see if I o'd and lots of BDing....it didn't happen again. Last cycle I was back on Clomid 100mg, not sure that I o'd. Trying Clomid 100mg this cycle but on CD 3-7 instead of 5-9 also using a chiropractor this time. RE appointment scheduled for Oct 22. Hopefully I will be able to cancel it!!!

Hmmmm....
I am Christina, this cycle is our 21st TTC our second. Our first (and ONLY) child, AJ, was conceived the first month off the pill while NTNP. We began TTC #2 in January 2008. I started seeing my OB about getting pregnant in September 2008 and did 2 cycles of clomid (50mg) and then did an ultrasound (pelvic and trans-vaginal) and was diagnosed with PCOS in November 2008. Continued with 50mg Clomid in Dec 08, Jan 09, Feb 09, Mar 09, Apr 09, June 09, July 09, August 09. We had a SA done in April and it was great. We had a HSG done at the end of May and my tubes are clear. This is my first cycle on 100mg of Clomid. If the next 2-3 cycles on 100mg don't work we will then be referred to a fertility specialist around the 2 year mark.

I'm Cris and we're in month 25 of TTC our first (cycle 28). We went and started talking with my Gyno in March 2009 (at 18 months ttc). All my BW came back normal and DH's SA came back normal. I just had my HSG done and everything was clear. Now we're deciding what our next step will be... Clomid, monitoring, HCG trigger, and BDing or IUI... I think we're going to try Clomid and trigger for a cycle and see how that goes. Never in my life did I think it would take us this long to get pregnant.

I'm Kimberley. 3 years ago I realized that I didn't want to be childless to I told DH that I was done with BC and if he didn't like it, then he could be in charge of protection. About a year and half later I got pg, but unfortunately miscarried at almost 10w. Since the loss we have been actively TTC using all tools available (charting, OPKs, monitor, preseed, etc.) I am now in cycle #18 of actively TTC since the loss. I have a Dr. appt next week and will discuss again what our next steps will be.

I'm Kari and we are on our 25th month of TTC our first child. I knew I had PCOS and sought help after 8 months of TTC and charting with no luck. I don't ovulate on my own and have done the whole roller coaster of MA. We tried Clomid and TI for three cycles (using a trigger to O), then did two cycles with Clomid and IUI, tried one cycle with femara that didn't work at all, then moved on to an RE right after that. With the RE we have done two clomid/IUI cycles, adding in the Metformin. And I did one full cycle of injectables/IUI which failed, and one cycle with injectables that was canceled due to too many follicles. I'm now waiting for my consult with my RE tomorrow to discuss our next step which will be IVF. We probably won't move forward with that until early next year if we are lucky... we need to save up the money! We'll keep trying at home, but not ovulating on my own makes it a little pointless.
