well i have been temping to confirm O for the last 6 or so cycles. i figure, what do the temps from 4dpo to 10dpo really matter. it's temps that confirm O and temps towards the end of the cycle that really mean anything. i've had charts totally fool me in the past and i hate stressing over lower temps. but this cycle i can't seem to stop - arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

what are your thoughts on temping from 3dpo to 10dpo?

I think we're in a similar boat. I've been temping for about 5 months now and once I get to six, I think I'm going to quit - or partially quit like you. I mostly started to confirm for myself that my body is technically doing what its supposed to be doing and if not, to accumulate some data for the infertility specialist if it comes to that. If you already have loads of data, and a problem (if you have one) is diagnosed, then I don't think its super important to temp your complete cycle. Just the bits you're interested in seems fine, especially if it stresses you out. Some people might disagree, but those are my thoughts

I do it. My temps are never around the same every month anyways.

I actually quit temping all together and that's when I had gotten pregnant. On my 7th cycle. It was my first month not temping. I think the stress from worrying too much about my temps was what was actually preventing me from getting pregnant.

I say if it helps you stay stress free, then go ahead and skip temping for the few days. Staying stress free is always a good thing, plus, you'll have all the important info anyway!

I'm temping... I really don't obsess over it though, so it's not an issue. I know with the Clomid and u/s and HCG there is no reason for me to temp, but I am for curiosity sake. It's neat to be able to correlate O pains and CM and stuff to when I know I'm going to O.
