Has anyone used the Ovulite ovulation test? (the one where you look at your saliva under a microscope)
Is it worth it? - it's about $40
TIA!

I just bought it about a week ago and I think it works. I haven't been testing religiously, but I definitely see the fern like pattern they referred to. I used it during the week of my period and there was no pattern. Then I used it a few days ago and there was starting to be a fern like pattern. I think I ovulated yesterday....it felt like it at least and I tested this morning. There was still a fern like pattern, but it didn't fill the lens. I need to be better about using it every morning so I can notice differences everyday. I'm new to the TTC thing, so I haven't been charting etc etc. Need to learn still.

I used the saliva scope for months in addition to temperature charting. Sometimes I thought it worked and other times, I thought it didn't. Ulimately I didn't find it very helpful at all. I would recommend temperature charting, just getting a basal thermometer and saving the $40 but that's just my opinion.
