DH and I decided the other night in bed that we aren't completely willing to give up the clomid. I felt so good about the decision until a few days ago. We will do at least one more cycle if not the last 2 refills I have on the 100mg. OB is checking my progesterone at 7dpo every cycle.

I really hope and pray that all you'll need is just another cycle on the Clomid, Christina. It's crazy how in this TTC journey we can get feelings (good and bad) and that can change our minds on so many things. I have always tried to go with my gut and hopefully by going with yours, you'll get that BFP!

Good luck. I agree with both of you, I think the gut is the way to when it comes to this stuff. Hell, I think the gut is the way to go on most things!!! Yeah for clomid

I also agree to go with your gut... but I'm still a little nervous for you that they have done all of these cycles of Clomid with you- unmonitored (with u/s).... Most doctors won't do more than 6 cycles of Clomid, so I do worry about you.

I don't really know much about Clomid. I am hopeful that it all works out for you soon!

good luck chrintina. i'm just gonna mention, that this is my first cycle off clomid. we are doing femara. wow what a difference!!! no hot flashes at all, no headaches I just FEEL so much better on this stuff. AND my CM is so much better and i'm only on CD7!!!! So i'm hoping your last couple rounds of clomid work, so you don't have to worry about it anymore!! but if you find yourself looking for another option, you might want to talk to your dr. about femara! good luck hun! i pray for you every day!

Lynda, I tried to talk my doctor into moving me on to femara but he didn't want to (because of the birth defects if taken while pregnant even though I wouldn't be taking it while pregnant) and actually only relented to moving me up on the clomid (he didn't want to do that because I was already ovulating on the 50mg). I am sure the first thing the fertility specialist do is to put me on femara - watch.

Jackie - as long as I am seeing my OB for this, I won't get monitored. Partially because he is just a regular OB and doesn't do that kind of thing. Secondly cause it is $40 a pop for me to go into his office, PLUS the ultrasound fee. And oddly - my CM is great this cycle. I haven't taken the mucinex this time.
