Hi ladies, I have a question for you about AF signs/preg signs...

I usually have sore breasts for over a week prior to my period starting say about 5 or 6 dpo and it continues until the day before AF starts. Every month this happens and every month I know its too early for implantation to have occurred and preg signs to begin, and I assume I'm not pregnant (and I've been right so far).

So my question is this... do you think you can conceive and have normal AF signs like sore breasts on your normal dpo schedule prior to implantation (because your body doesn't know its pregnant yet), and then continue those same signs post implantation due to pregnancy hormones? Kind of like a "pass the baton" kind of action from one physical state to the next...

Does this make sense? Do you think I'm crazy and reading between the lines too creatively?

Ughhhh! I hate waiting!!! AF should be her Friday or Saturday if she's on her way

Thanks.

I really think, from what I've seen on the boards and read, that AF and pregnancy symptoms can go hand in hand. Some ladies have bet that they were out due to AF symptoms as usual (look at Amanda's thread a few days ago!), but in fact ended up being pregnant. It's hard to say, but I'm truly hoping for the best for you!!

Are you going to test tomorrow?

Jackie is completely right- AF and early Pregnancy symptoms are unfortunately so similar that it's hard to differentiate. Hopefully what you're feeling are pregnancy related things! Good luck!

I'm not much new help either because AF and preg symptoms are so similar. I think sometimes that we can get a little IPS as well but maybe you'll end up with a bfp!

Even if the symptoms started BEFORE implantation could possibly have happened?

Thanks ladies.

And yes, I'm going to test... maybe Sunday? That's be 13 dpo... Who knows though, I'll probably get the wench before then

Having been pregnant before, I can guarantee you - AF signs are pregnancy symptoms too. I swore up hill and down I was going to get AF. I was pushed to test by someone I used to talk to here on JM and tested the day before I expected AF and walla - a faint BFP! Three days later my line was darker and a digital test agreed! I have a 3 year old son from AF signs.

Good Luck!
