I am home! Surgery went well yesterday. I was so nervous! I have never had surgery before, plus my RE was afraid Anestesia would cancel it because I had a small cold over the weekend which made me even more nervous since my mother had taken the day off work to drive 5 hours and be with me. When I got to the hospital though they didnt even consider canceling me. So the worst part was the IV OMG!! I had a young nurse and she numbed me, but then she missed my vein and she kept trying to find it! It hurt so bad and I felt really bad for her because she felt bad too. Then another nurse came in numbed me little more and farther up, moved the turnicate and then had no problems getting the IV in. After the IV though things went awesome. I fell asleep talking about my sisters and woke up in recovery dreaming about snow. I had no reaction from anestetia and was released within an hour of waking up.

My Dr. performed a D&C as well as removing the polyp so things should be all clean and clear in there. I should hear from my RE today letting my know if I still stop BCP on the 19th and all of that stuff. So things are looking up for us!!

I'm so glad that it went so well. Getting the IV can be horrible if you get an inexperienced nurse! I hope you're up and at 'em soon!

I'm glad your surgery went well! Surgerys are scary no matter what they are for! I'm hoping a quick bfp for you after your IVF cycle.
