Hey girls, I just wanted you all to know that I am checking in on you girls everyday and rooting for you from the background.

I do have a bit of news myself. On the baby front, Nate and I are officially giving it 100% again. We are using my fertility monitor to confirm O. I actually got a peak today! That would be great except that Nate is in St. Louis until tomorrow. We did BD on Wednesday morning before he left. I bet I get another peak tomorrow, so I am going to consider myself still in until the witch shows! He's getting jumped as soon as he gets home tomorrow.

On another front, I got accepted to the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Texas Tech University! I am so super excited! This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time, but have been putting it on hold hoping to get pregnant. 22 months later and still no baby, I decided that I am not willing to look back in another year and not have started back to school. It is important that I get finished before 2015 because they are raising the program to a doctorate level and all of the Master's prepared NPs will be grandfathered in. At this point it will take me 8 semesters, so I should finish well before 2015.

Originally, Nathan I decided that we would not try while I was in school (because it is an intense program), but we have since changed our decision about that. We are not going to do anything fertility related, but we are going to keep trying like we are trying now. If I do get pregnant, I am able to take 1 year out of the program and still be enrolled. Here is to hoping that I get both of the things I want...a baby and my NP! I might start seeking more fertility related help toward the end of the program if I am still not pregnant.

Anyway, that's a little update on us. I love you girls and miss you terribly!

That's all awesome news (except the part about Nathan being away). I'm glad that you have decided to stop putting your life on hold. Good luck in your course!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Hello Ash! It's great that your going back to school. I think it is also really nice that they let you take a year off for baby. I hope you get your BFP sooN!

*Had doctors appointment scheduled for 11/17 to start the process with IVF and had to cancel +HPT 11/15!!!

I hope it all works out for you! That is great news. Good for you for not putting anything else on hold for baby! Please make me do that as well! I have been doing that for 22 months, too!

I'm so glad to read this update! I have been missing you lately! I think I mentioned DH had to get his laptop fixed so he has been without it for like 3 weeks and we've been sharing. He has his back now, so hopefully we can catch up soon

Congrats on starting your new program! I'm sure you'll do really well with it! I'm glad you guys decided not to put off anything else while TTC. I'm also glad you guys are TTC full force again! Yay! I have a feeling we'll be seeing your BFP before you know it... things sometimes have a way of happening when you least expect them!

hey ash, i was just thinking of you last night. wondering how you were doing. glad you checked in with us!! we miss you too. i'm glad you got an "egg" on the monitor, and i definitely think you're still in the game!!! jump your man tomorrow!

congrats on the program. i'm sure it's very very intense, but it might just take your mind off ttc and then BOOM, BFP!!!! hugs girl!! hope to see you more!!

You girls are the best! As it turns out, FF thinks I O'd yesterday and I think I agree with them because I had more EWCM yesterday. DH got home yesterday afternoon and I jumped him! So I am definitely considering myself IN!! Yippee!! I updated my chart just for the occasion!
