How much money have you put into TTC? Meds, procedures, tests, etc.

I added it all up - without the metformin and OPKs we have spent approx. $730. Add the 14 months of metformin at $4 = $56 and approx. $180 in OPK's. I wouldn't be able to venture a guess at how much I have spent on pregnancy tests because I don't buy them every month and sometimes I get $ store tests and sometimes I pick something up at Walmart. So that totals up to approx $966.

Oh boy - I didn't include OB co-pays in there...whoa - add another $200 in there.

I actually have a spreadsheet at home. I haven't updated it since before my surgery... I'll have to do that. It's for no other reason than just to see at the end of it all I guess. My numbers are pending.

I have not kept track 'cause I'm afraid of how much it will be! Here's a rough estimate

Medical - so far $0. All testing is covered and I haven't had any prescriptions or procedures
OPKs - $200
HPTS - $200
Monitor - $250
CBEFM test sticks - $65
Vitamins/supplements/etc - $180
BBT thermometers (I have 3) - $55
Various books: $60

But think of the cost savings in booze and sushi and other pregnancy no-nos.

oh there is no telling how much i have spent on testing...I don't even want to know.

I know its going to get more expensive as we dive into the world of MA. Luckily i have a $10 copay for the doc, all of my b/w post m/c was covered so i am just hoping we have really good insurance when we start looking at options. I'm not sure yet what will be covered. It will make a big difference in what we're able to do though.

Ok I think I may cry doing this but I am going to anyways....
Meds (Clomid, IUI w/ Inject, IVF): $1800
U/S: $1000
Testing/Other RE costs: $5000
Surgery (remove polyp and D&C): $550
HPTs: $200
Books: $100
BBT: $35
Vitamins: $50

This is all that we have paid out of pocket, we also have fertility coverage so you can imagine what the real number is. So all in all $8735 or so. I am hoping it is done at that! We cant afford to keep doing this for much longer.

I really have no idea. Probably not that much because all of my testing and procedures have been 100% covered except for co-pays. I hope none of us have to spend very much more!
