I know that Cris asked this a while back, and silly me, I didn't bookmark it. So I'm asking again.

For those of you who have/are working with an RE - what can I expect at the first appt and what questions should I be asking?

Hey, it has been a long time since I started seeing my RE... so the questions are a little fuzzy. A couple of things to for sure ask about are, 1) What are their weekend/holiday hours, if you need an IUI on a weekend, are they available? 2) How involved are YOU in the plan making, can you set the tone for how aggressive or passive you will be with treatments? 3) What testing needs to be done/re-done before we get started?

I am sure I will think of others. I'll try to dig out some old posts from the MA board... or if you ask over there I'm sure more people will help you out!

Those topics are excellent ones that Melissa pointed out.

I basically took all my charts and all of my medical records from my OB/GYN with me and we went from there. I didn't plan it out. Good luck and can't wait to hear what the next step is for you!
