Well, Retreival went well. I was told to be there no later than 10:30 AM and retreival would be at 11AM. Well we were on time, but apparently they werent. I was so nervous that them being late would screw something up. I was in the OR just getting my anesthesia at 11:40 AM. Woke up in the recovery room at 12:30 and was out the door by 1PM. I had some mild cramping to start with that seems to be getting worse, but its definitely bearable. Other than that no pain or sickness. So now for the big news.... They were able to retreive

Out of 24 follicles

24 eggs! Now not all of those are necessarily mature, but that is total number of eggs. I will find out how many mature eggs I had and how many of those fertilized tomorrow. Then the transfer will more than likely be on Thursday since my RE rarely does 5 day transfers. I will be sure to keep you all updated though! Thanks for thinking of me!

*Mock Transfer & Frozen Semen Sample October 8th.
*Remove Polyp - October 12
*Baseline U/S October 22. - Found 32 Follies!! 16 on each Ovary!
*Start Menopur & Barvelle October 23.
*Start Antagon October 26.
*Follie Checks around October 28 & 30.
*Retreival Scheduled for Nov. 1st: 26 eggs retreived, 20 mature, 18 fertilized.
*Transfer Scheduled for Nov. 5th (3dt): 2 embies transfered. (One Grade 1 8-cell embie (A+), and one Grade 2 compacting 8-cell embie (A-/B+). 7 frosties too!

24 months of ttc our first: 4 cycles Clomid, 1 HSG, 3 s/a's for DH, lap, polypectomy, d&c.
Diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis; IVF recommended by RE.
Cycle #19- IUI- AF showed.
Cycle #20- Starting testing for IVF & ttc naturally!!
November 21st- cycle day 3 bloodwork and ultrasound
December 7- IVF Orientation
Aiming for January/February IVF Cycle

Kari (27) - PCOS and Annovulatory
Brian (28) - SA - below average motility and morphology
Lots of Failed/Canceled Cycles... TI, Clomid, Femara, Injects, IUI's... I"ve done it all.
Oct/Nov 09 - Injects with IUI - Canceled due to overstimulation.
Nov 09 - Back to the drawing board. 100mg Clomid, Trigger, IUI... think it will work this time????

Thanks ladies! No update yet today, I am hoping soon!! I am not a very patient person! haha

Em - We are hoping to transfer 2 high quality embies back. We will see how many fertilize and what quality we are looking at first though.
