it was okay. i like my new midwife alot. she was really nice. all she told me was that there wasnt really anything more than me charting to see for sure if i'm ovulating to do right now. i told her i hadnt charted because i dont want to get really stressed out about it. i went and bought the taking charge of your fertility book and a bbt though and i am going to chart for 6 months and then if we are not pregnant we are going to go to a doctor on base and see what can be done there. it seems to me that a regualr doctor on base might be more apt to give me some clomid. or something.

I'm so glad you like your new midwife! Even if you go to a base doc, do you think you'll keep her? It would probably be a nice combo of support to have them both.

You're right, though. A base doc is more likely to give you something else. Would you consider going to one sooner to see about your irregular periods and such? Maybe not to get Clomid just yet, but to get you back on track?

Good luck, whatever you decide!!! It's always exciting to have a medical person looking out for you, isn't it?

i will definately keep going to the birth center. my midwife said that it is possible that i just have irregular periods and that it is still possible to get pregnant with cycles as long as mine. it really sucks for me. i didnt know if there was anything that can be done to get af back on track. i was pretty regular before ashton so it seems weird to me that i'm so irregular now. isnt less that 6 periods a year not good though? read that somewhere.

I am glad that you like her. I was lucky and had already been charting when I went in to see my DR so I got Clomid faster. Charting is a pain but it is worth it.
