Anyone here any good at crafts of any sort? I'm stocking up on fabric and scrapbooking stuff. I know how to scrapbook, but quilting? I don't even own a sewing machine. I bought lots of yarn, too, to try to reteach myself to crochet. We'll just see how that goes...

Hehe...I feel like I have nothing to scrapbook, so I end up arranging pages and never quite wanting to stick anything down. Then I buy photo albums and save the pictures that way. I've done a couple, and am trying to get back into it, but...well, I don't know. The quilting might win for a while.

HAHA Well, that's what sort of inspired this. Hehe. I have no idea why I'm so attracted to the off-the-beaten-path holidays. Plus, I just started buying a ton of stuff to do crafts and was interested in whether or not anyone actually does any! Don't worry...weird holiday post coming VERY soon, just for you, Rodi.

Sandy, I'm jealous. I've learned how to do it once, but I forgot. Hehe. I never even completed the dish rag I was making because I didn't learn how to go back on a stitch (or whatever it's called) when I messed up.

I'm vowing to relearn all sorts of things, though...and to learn new!!!

I'm embarrassed to admit something: I am just now getting around to putting away Christmas stuff. I have a medium-sized container full of nothing but fabric holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.) ribbon, another of holiday fabric, and another of holiday wrapping material (like ornaments and jewels and stamps, etc.). I have a hanging thing for holiday wrap and tissue paper and already-decorated bags. I had no idea I had this much crap.

This doesn't even touch the crafting stuff for other holidays.

Or the boxes of things to make ornaments or other holiday crafts.

Or the boxes upon boxes of general crafting things.

I'm pathetic. Hehe.
