I'm excited and nervous all at the same time, I am still hoping I'll get my BFP at the beginning of December and be able to share the news with everyone for Christmas but then again if I don't get a BFP it will probably bring me down especially since I am constantly being asked my DH's family when are we going to have kids

I am like you - I usually have AF around Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year I have already had AF (she is gone I think) - I will be getting ready to O towards the end of the week probably. I hope I don't O there (we are traveling) - we are sharing a 3 bedroom/one bath house between 10 people!

Thanksgiving will be clear this year (YAY!), but one of my younger cousins (who was ON THE PILL) is expecting so it won't be very enjoyable. I will be expecting the witch again right before Christmas, so that will NOT be fun.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

I dread it. I got my BFP with my son on Christmas eve in 2005, but now with AF/O around all the holidays it seems I can't get ahead.

I guess it depends on where I am in my cycle and who I'll be around for the holidays. AF of course is a downer at the holidays, but if I'm Oing, it's kind of neat to think we could be making our baby at my favorite time of year.

DH's family always seems to have a billion pregnant women around. Last Christmas DH and I were the only couple of child bearing years to not be pregnant or recently have had a baby. It sucked.

Last year AF showed on Xmas morning, Merry Xmas indeed! This year I will be in the 2ww so I won't have to worry about BD'ing at my parents' house.

That's us every year, and yes it does suck!! I already know AF is going to come knocking around TG, so I am just going ahead and preparing myself for it!
