so lately, i've come across people who have named their children after their TTC Stories....
FOR INSTANCE
Boy named Chance, cause it was their last chance with IVF to conceive and they did...
Girl named Journey, cause their TTC journey was so very difficult...
Girl named Miracle cause they were given a 2% to conceive naturally due to husband's sperm quality issues and they got pregnant...
what are your thoughts on that? do you know any others?

I want to use Gianna for a daughters name but DH is being resistant. It is the Patron Saint's name for mothers, physicians, and unborn children. I pray to her every cycle since finding out about her.

A friend of ours named their daughter Journey also!
I've always liked the name Hope (I won't use it but I like it), especially if it has special meaning.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.

My cousin is named Hope and when she had a daughter, she named her Faith. Faith was an Oopsie baby so I'm thinking it was more a play on the Faith, Hope, Love, Charity thing.

I wonder if anyone ever calls their unplanned babies names like "Slip" or "Surprise"?

A friend of mine was named CHANGES maybe because their family wants to have in their life and
as well as with their environment,, another friend was named faith hope,, according to her parents
that having this two things in life will let you get through rough times.... nice names though...

I know someone who named their daughter Destiny because she got pregnant after having her tubes tied.

I had a friend joke once along the lines of oops babies, and if people ever name them after the alcohol they had prior to their conception (if that was the cause of their oops)... like Heinekin, Jager, Bud, Miller, etc etc
I've never considered doing a name like that, but after everything and knowing this may be my last biological baby if we concieve, I will think a lot about the name!
