My husband and I have tried having sex every other day. We have tried having sex every day there is wet CM all the way til the temp. rise. Nothing has worked yet. Just wanted to know what ya'll do?? Started spotting today, so that means AF is coming tomorrow!

Well we started BD every 36-48 hours from day 10 till I knew that I had already O'ed. I don't knwo how much it helped because it still took me 14 months.

Thanks blue eyes! I was wanting to ask you.....Did you have regular cylces and where you ovulating every month before you got pregnant? That is the thing that confuses me. I am so regular every month and know that I am ovulating too! It feels like we are doing everything right with no success. It is just heartbreaking EVERY month!

Hi there - I can't comment a whole lot about how often to BD since I have been TTC#4 for over three years LOL however, I do want to mention that even though your cycles are regular, it doesnt mean that you are ovulating at the same time each month. I have cycles that are between 28-30 days no matter when I ovulate.... and I have ovulated on CD 17, 14, 11, 16 and 17 so if you aren't currently temping to confirm ovulation maybe you want to start?

Yes, I just started temping two cycles ago. One cycle I O'd on cd13 and the other on cd14. I would love to post my charts but don't know how!!!!

My cycles were all diffrent BUT I usually had a 13 day LP so when I started charting I noticed that I was more reg then I thought that I was. My cycles were from 26-31 days so it was not that much of a time diffrence.

It is heartbreaking TTC. I can't tell you how many months I was just ready to give up because I never thought I was going to get another baby.

Sandy is right--it IS heartbreaking to do everything right every month and still have nothing to show for it except nasty ol' AF.

It sounds like you're having sex at the right time. DH and I had regular sex (pretty much every day, AF or no, sometimes more), tried the every-other-day method when we figured he had a low sperm count, but went back to every day when he had been working on that for a while. It still took quite a while! I don't have much fertile CM, so that wasn't really a good sign. I just knew my body and what it *felt* like before O. So, we started BDing every day again, then 2 days after the temp rise. (We still had sex every day besides the fertile time, but MADE SURE that we DID do it on those days, no oral mixed in, certain positions, coming inside me, etc. Not that you can't get pregnant NOT doing those things, but we just felt better doing what we could.)

Congrats on temping! Are you finding that it's helping you out quite a bit?!
