haven't logged onto the boards in a year (to the day ironically!) though I have lurked occasionally. Medical intervention is financially impossible for us so at the 1-year TTC mark, I decided to stop torturing myself with the boards and letting life revolve around getting pregnant. I put it out of my mind I hoped we'd be able to afford adoption in our late 30's or early 40's.
It's been two years and a month since our first BFP which ended in an early m/c. Today I reluctantly peed on a stick since AF was 5 days late and nearly fainted to see those two lines! (Dollar Tree test, BTW).
It's kind of bittersweet to see familiar faces on TTC 6+. I'd hoped not to see any! I hope this encourages some of you who may measure your TTC journey in years rather than months.
I'm floored to have a BFP after two years and no medical intervention of any kind. Sticky vibes/prayers desperately needed!
