2 years ago from today was the first day of our first cycle that we were actually trying to conceive. I've learned a lot and have made a lot of friends, but I haven't gotten anywhere in my journey.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

I'm sorry Jackie. I'ts two weeks until my 1 year mark. I know that doesn't really compare at all, but I feel like in a blink of an eye I'll be approaching the 2 year with no more luck either. I'm with you.

Ana- believe it or not, the 1 year mark was more painful than the 2 year mark is..... I think after an amount of time, it becomes more numbing than painful.

 Jackie! I am 4 weeks out from my two year mark, and I simply cannot believe it. Here's to hoping 2010 brings something very special for us both!!

Yep... that two year mark just sucked! It was a rough one and I'm so sorry that you have to go through it too (or any of you for that matter)! I'm just hoping and praying that IVF will bring you that MUCH deserved and LONG AWAITED

I thought I had been doing ok yesterday, but when the words came out of my mouth last night to DH that it's been 2 years (and he reacted like "no way- holy cow- time is going TOO FAST), I got sucked big time into a funk. I just bawled at bedtime, telling DH how I wish I didn't know what an actual heartache felt like.... and just cried myself to sleep. He held me- not much more than that he can do. I just don't know what's going to happen here in the next few weeks.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I cried about it myself today (we'll hit 3 years of trying Mother's Day 2010). I was hoping my youngest and the baby we are trying for would only be 2 1/2 years apart but she turned 4 this fall. It's hard when time keeps ticking by but it's worth the end result, so hang in there!

Curly - I am right there with you. I wanted my kiddo's closer in age, but AJ will be 4 in August (as will Lindsey's little one).
