we have been hit

I just wanted to let you all know that we have been hit by several tornados today and they are still going on but as of right now we are all ok . They hit within 10 miles of my house and have had 2 people already confirmed dead.

I did not want you to see and and wonder about me ....

That must be really scary, we dont get them up here in Canada. We get tail ends which is nothing.

DH and I got caught trying to get back home in Nashville from picking up the car tag for our brand new 2006 Suzuki Reno and ran into a massive hail storm. Our pretty new car now has hail dents all over it. We were running from hail and tornadoes for almost 5 hours.

We are bracing for a massive cell tonight. The city is holding its breath.

OMG

That type of weather pattern is almost alien to me as i live in GB.
Prayin you are all ok and not too much damage to your house.
I have always been fascinated by tornados after watching 'twister'
But i suppose that is glorified compared to the devastation they actually cause

Oh my goodness!! I have been watching all of that on the news/weather channel. Very scary stuff. I hope you all stay safe through all the nasty weather this season. I just don't think I could live where those were a normal occurance. Here in PA we have one every now and then, but they definately aren't the norm.
