change careers, what might you like to do?

If it could be anything....a lawyer or homebuilder. I've always wanted to be a lawyer and then during my senior year in college....there was a survey going around here at A&M and the results showed that like 99% of the people in my college planned to go to law school. I thought....I'm going to spend alot of money on school and not be able to find a job.

And then a homebuilder. Yep, I've always had a eye for construction. If I hadn't missed the deadline, that would have been what my master's degree would have been in.

If money was no issue - I'd probably become an acupuncturist or maybe work with animals.

I would want to be a Pediatric Oncologist. If time and money were no object, that is what I would absolutely love to do. I was originally premed and changed to Radiology and after looking at the school schedule that was 8:00-5:00 every day I told DH (then BF) I would have to work at night and had no idea when I would have time to study and do homework and then when I looked years down the road the school schedule did not get any better and we wanted a family and so forth, so I changed to business.

Now my life is upside down and I'm working in law enforcement doing 12 hour shifts, rotate a month of nights, then days, I work on holiday and every other weekend.......so now I think I'm a total idiot!

Hopefully one day I can be a SAHM so I have no problem working my a $$ off to one day get to stay home with my miracle!

If I could change careers I would most definitely do nothing. LOL I know that sounds ridiculous, but i would absolutely LOVE to stay up and then sleep till whenever, spend my days shopping, eating at nice restaurants, and doing more shopping/decorating my house/anything that sounded like a good plan at the time. However that requires lots of money to come from somewhere and since I have no big trust fund or anything cool like that, I work I am lucky enough to work in a school, so I have summers off to do most of those things, just minus the endless cash flow.

Honestly my dream job has always been to be there for my kids/SAHM. My Mom was a single working mother (she worked nights and slept days). I didn't see much of her until I was 11/12. Basically raised by my Gram, Sister, and family friends.

College/Career Wise - if I could go back, I would take the 3 extra courses for a dual major and get a AAS Medical Office Degree.
