do you believe in their power to forsee the future?

I had my tarot cards read last week. The woman told me the two cards you wanted to see come up for pregnancy. there was one in specific that she said was important. So she did a reading and my question was, will I have any more children. She read my cards and told me that unfortunately, if things stay exactly the way they are right now, I will not have another child. My heart sank. She then told me that you can change your future. So I asked her to read again, using the question will I be able to have another child if I seek medical assistance? She did my reading and started with past and present and then the future/outcome card she had me pick randomly from the deck, and I picked a card and when she turned it over it was the card she showed me before the reading that was the important card for pregnancy. we both gasped... she then turned over all the remaining cards i could have chosen and showed me that they were all different. it was kinda crazy! now how do I tell my DH I want to seek MA when we decided in the beginning that we would totally leave it in Gods hands? especially when it is so darn expensive! what do you gals think?

I have no idea. I've never had any kind of reading in real life, so I really don't know if I would believe in them or not. Unfortunately, only you and your DH can make the decision regarding medical assistance. I know my DH & I are going to the max on this, but I really think it's a different mindset for me since I have never been a Mom. I can't say for sure what is best for you, but know we're here to support you no matter what!

I dont believe in that stuff, but I definitely do believe that if TTC naturally isnt working for a long period of time and you really want a baby...that MA is the answer! You need to talk with your DH and tell him how important this is to you!

Years ago I had a reading done. She asked if we had a skylight (we didn't at the time), I asked why and she said that she saw water dripping from our ceiling. I asked her about DH and she laughed and said that she pictured him surrounded by water. When I asked about my family she asked me if anyone had high blood pressure, I said no. She asked me why my mom wanted to move and I said that she didn't want to move.

When I got home, DH was sitting the tub (i.e. surrounded by water). When I talked to my mom a few weeks later she confirmed that my Dad was taking high blood pressure medications and yes, that my mom wanted to move (which they have since).

A few weeks after that, the pressure release valve on our hot water heater broke, I went down to the basement and since all of this hot water had leaked out, there was condensation on the ceiling and water was dripping!

She totally blew my mind!

As for the future, I think that we have several paths and our future is determined by which path we take. Why not explore MA - you don't have follow through on any treatments if you don't want to. At least find out what your options are.

I think it is time for you and DH to re-evaluate.

DH and I have a conversation every other month - sometimes every time AF shows and discuss what we should do next. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be saving up for IUI! NEVER! But here we are. I have dreams of 4 children and at this present time I won't have them without help.

WOW that is cool Lynda. I am waiting to see if my tarot reading by another girl here on JM is right. She predicted conception this month and that it will be a boy...waiting to see what happens and hoping she's right. But she did say a lot of tarot is interpretation.

Lynda, I say find an RE and at least go through the initial consultation. It is about $350 here.... and it is just money. I know it is easier to say its just money when you have it but if in your heart and soul you want another baby then don't have regrets about not exploring all of your options. Just my 2 cents...
