I have a quick question about my CBE monitor. I am still getting used to it, this only being the second month. I was reading the manual over again. It says that you should use about 10 sticks per cycle. I used 20 in my first month, I guess trying to get used to my cycle (35 days). I was sure that we aould be ok with the last 10 from the pack. It says not to mix the sticks up with a new pack, but I am not going to have enough, I don't think. Will it be ok to use a new pack. It seems like a really expensive waste to throw away 10 sticks. Please somebody tell me what is up?

I am having a hard time getting a response...is there anyone out there?

I would NOT throw away 10 sticks as long as they are the same kind I don't see a problem with it. I have never used the CBE moniter but I have heard that they are great. I think the first month it does use more sticks 10 should do it this month. Good luck!

I think Donna (DreamChaser) addressed your question in my "Help Me!" post on the TTC board.
I think she said she uses the 10 and doesn't throw them away. It does seem like a waste.

Good luck! I'm trying to educate myself on the monitors myself.

i have to open a new box sometimes during a cycle so im basically mixing the tests but i stil do. Also, i remember lilah telling me..once you have gotten 2 peak days you can stop testing. The monitor may ask for 3 or 4 more while it stays high and then goes back to low but there is no need..its probably just the companies way of getting you to use more, so you have to buy more. Good luck!

I agree--DON'T throw them away!!! Seems like if everyone did that, you'd use all your baby-raising money before you even got pregnant!

Good luck with the monitor! I've never used one, but they seem pretty cool. (I sort of want one so that I have a gadget to play with! )

Yeah I have one too. This is my 3rd month using the monitor and I was thinking the same thing. I hope that I won't need another box this month but I might be a stick or two short for 10. But I hate the thought of throwing them out - they are NOT cheap. I would probably just mix like the other said.
