Sorry, in my whining last night, I got part of the details wrong. It was Nate's cousin, not sister.

Ash, I'm so sorry...I really do feel your pain. In a way I'm glad there is someone else going through the same thing. I have unofficially been ttc for 8 months. Charting for the last 3, now probably 4.
Recently my sister announced her pregnancy. She already has a son. I should be happy, but I can't be. Because you see, she is the type of person who really should not be having children--though some will say, who am I to say who should and shouldn't. In this case, I know what I'm talking about.
Her first son, she abandoned and left for my now sixty year old disabled mother to raise. He has many learning disabilities due to her drug use and was born with a hole in his heart also, as a result. I have to help my mom with money monthly just so she can support him, and herself.
This time, my sister is equally irresponsible. She smokes heavily, (now 2 months pregnant) is a drug addict, has no job and cannot even take care of herself. (my mom has to bring her money and food every few days). God only knows what will happen to that poor child that is coming.
So as you can see, I am furious with her and frustrated as well. Life can be very unfair.
To top it off my sister in law is pregnant--AGAIN with her second!!!! When she told us I burst into tears and had to pass my tears off as joy for the news!!
UGHHHHHHH! Depressing!!
Baby dust to you, and though I gave my depressing story, don't give up, because I won't!! Hugs to you!!

I am so sorry for both of you. It is so hard when you struggle to get pregnant and have a baby when those around you are. I understand how you feel, it just doesn't seem fair. ((Hugs))

I am feeling the same way this week! It's not my family that's having babies, but I had three friends give birth in the past week or so. It's so amazing to see the pictures of their beautiful babies, but so painful too! Hang in there, our time will come!
