I am one of those people that looks for "signs" and meaning in things. As bad as it was to find out our IVF failed, I was sooo worried about it the morning of the blood draw because going to get my blood drawn I didn't hear a single song that made me think I was pg, it was actually the most generic songs I've ever heard on 20 on 20, like there was no meaning to any of them. So, I wondered if anybody else out there does the same thing.... it seems like every time we've gotten bad news when I get into the car Miley Cyrus's "The Climb" is on, and for some reason that song makes me think that this is going to happen, we just have to get over our "mountains" first. Another song that I heard more recently was Michael Buble's " Haven't Met You Yet". It seems like every time I start feeling like I'm never going to be a mommy, I get in the car and that song is on! DH thinks I'm crazy to look at hearing a song with a meaning I can take toward ttc as a "sign", but I know I can't be the only one!! Maybe it's me just needing reassurance, but it certainly works!! If not songs what are your things you look for as signs?

I definitely look for signs in everything. If you remember my post about the rainbows, that certainly proves it. Lots of "signs" happened that day which told me that I was supposed to start this IVF journey. I don't look for signs in songs though- never really thought about it! I more look for things lining up-- dates, appointments, etc.

My mom died of emphasema (sp?) ten years ago and after she died I kept hearing the song "no more tears in heaven" - song goes, would you know my name if i saw you in heaven, would it be the same, if I saw you in heaven... not sure if you remember it, but I would hear this song all the time when I was going through really emotional things. It started to freak me out a bit. So yes, I believe in signs!!! they are from heaven!!!!

I'm a firm believer in using songs to help cope, whether it be good or bad situations....I have thought on numerous occasions about that same song by Miley "The Climb" in relation to this TTC journey. I just keep telling myself it will happen, it will happen .....

I do believe in signs.

I also have this bond with my dog. I know it is weird but when I was pregnant with AJ she was super cuddly. And then I of course brought home the usurper and she wasn't quite so happy with me. Some months she is really cuddly with me. Usually it is mostly around ovulation/2WW. I can't get away from her for the last few weeks. She always wants me to cuddle with her/hold her.
