While I've been in limbo between ttc events, I've been a little worse about posting- so I apologize! I just wanted to let you ladies know where we are in our journey (of course it's all in my siggy anyway lol).
Our last appointment with my RE (before IVF) is Friday. We go in at 10am. DH and I both have to be present to sign the release forms, learn the injectables (although I've already watched the online videos that my IVF coordinator provided to me), and we pay for our IVF cycle. They will then order my meds from the specialty pharmacy I've chosen, and I should have those next week I think. I've been focusing on relaxing, and the power of positive thinking for this cycle because it HAS to work and it WILL work. It is our only shot at a fresh cycle (due to the out of pocket cost), so I'm doing everything I can to settle my brain and get my heart into this 100%. DH & I decided at the end of last week that we're going to go away Friday night. The appointment will be our biggest step in this very long journey, so we need a little "us" time away from home. We're going to go enjoy it so we're going out of town that night to spend it at the same place we spent our 5 year wedding Anniversary.
Things are coming together. I have a book that I'm reading ("The Couple's Guide to IVF"), and it's helped relax me and has helped me know that what I'm feeling isn't strange- it's normal. Sooo, in approximately 3 weeks (depending on when my body decides to O), we'll be starting IVF! I'm still so anxious, nervous, and excited, but to be honest, I'm glad there's still 3 weeks between us and it. I am finding this time is super important to mentally prepare. My bosses know what is going on (all men) and they are very supportive of the time I'll need off. My Mom, Dad, and FIL know, along with my closest cousin (closest I have to a sister). That's it. So 6 people in my whole life know, and DH and I have just decided to tell my MIL. She doesn't even know we've been ttc (she's the ONLY person I was truly excited to surprise one day), but we both just feel the support will be super important, especially if this doesn't work.
Ok, that was much longer than I expected- thanks for listening!

It will work and in 9 months you will have an adorable bundle that is all yours and Jon's! Maybe even two bundles! I will keep up some positive thoughts and prayers that this is it for you!
Enjoy your night away!

Stay positive Jackie! This will be it for you=) Maybe you should look into taking a vacation after the procedure to help keep you relaxed and your mind off of it as much...just keep telling yourself 'I am pregnant'! Keep us posted.

Thanks! I need it badly! I only have 2 digi OPK sticks left (not buying more because we'll be pregnant after next cycle!!!!), and today's was still negative. I'm bloated and have very strong O pains, so hopefully I'll see that smilie tomorrow!

Thanks, ladies.
I'll have to write up about our "getaway" sometime, but today's not the day. We just ended a 40 hour period with no electricity and our house was in the 40s. It has been a TERRIBLE 2 days. I just wish tomorrow wasn't Monday so I could recover.
