Hello,
I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has a similiar situation to mine. My name is Elizabeth and I'm 23 yrs. old. I've been married for a year and a half. I have been TTC since August 2005, so that makes 8 months, and nothing! I have very irregular periods. I came off BC in August, and I've had 3 periods. I went to the Dr. and they checked for PCOS, tumors, everything. I had an ultrasound, She said that I just didn't have regular periods and it would just be a guessing game at when I O, which makes TTC extremely difficult. She suggested putting me on Clomid if I didn't conceive by July. What are your thoughts on Clomid? My sister in law had twins on Clomid! Anyway that'll be fine if that's what God wants me to have, Anyway I just need a lil support, and advice! If you are on Clomid what do you think of it? Thanks for listening!

Hi Elizabeth and welcome to JM!!!!! I too have been experiencing irregular period (only had 2 within the last 6 months) and before that my cycles went from being around 32 days long to being over 40. I was just recently tested for PCOS, Premature Ovarian Failure, Thyroid, etc... - all my test came back normal, so in my case my doctor thinks it is a combination of my weight and stress that is is causing me to ovulate irregularly - so she gave me a prescription for Clomid.

This is my first cycle on it, so I really don't know how it will work out - I pray that he will help me O sooner, but I am officially in the wait to see if/when it happens. It has been easy to take and I haven't felt any real side-effects. I know a few ladies on the boards have gotten BFP's on their first cycle and some were trying for a year or more to get pregnant before the clomid.

Hi Elizabeth and welcome! Dh and I have been trying for 11 months now. I came off BCP in May 05 and have had irregular periods since. I have been tested for most everything and so has DH. Next step for us is Clomid to. i'm trying to hold out as i think my body is starting to adjust and get back on track, but Clomid is looking better and better as each month goes by. Hi and welcome to JM

I am 25 next mth and DB is 43.
We have been ttc~1 for 21mths now
DB has a low motility rate(20%) and i dont always ovulate due to
low levels of progestrone.
It is very difficult for us. I will never give up hope though.

Welcome to Jm. My name is Sandy I am 34 and DH JR is 33. I have a DD by a past relationship that just turned 10.

I had been TTC for 13 cycles and the DR finally put me on clomid and I got my BFP the first cycle. I was having my AF and it was between 26-32 days so it was not that bad but I was not ovulating a mature egg and so I could not get pregnant.

There are a lot of ladies that are taking Clomid for the first time this month. I really hope that you get your BFP soon.
