Hi ladies!
I know some of you from other boards but I wanted to come say hi here and start to post here more as well. My name is Jacque (like Jackie) and DH is Jason and we're TTC our first sticky bean. We had two early losses- one in June/July and one in October. We just were married in June and our first loss was a honeymoon baby. With that loss, we decided we didn't want to wait to have children, so we started TTC. I used OPK's but was still confused on everything and finally went to charting in September- when we got our second BFP! Unfortunately, that one didn't stick either so I'm still here waiting for my sticky bean. After my loss in October, I found out I'm homozygous for the MTHFR A1298C mutation (clotting mutation) so started myself on baby aspirin despite my old OB telling me I didn't need it and my losses were "dumb luck" (his words- I swear!). I switched OB's and finally saw him in January and he told me the aspirin was a good idea. I've been on 4 mg of folic acid since May, before TTC, because I do have Spina Bifida. I also have a short LP- most of the time 12 days, but I would start spotting anywhere from 5-10 DPO, so this is my second cycle on Prometrium 200 mg by mouth. Hoping it does the trick and a little bean sticks soon! I'm 8 DPO (well, 9 according to the calendar but I haven't gone to sleep yet and it's almost 4 am!) and having a rougher time than in the past emotionally so I was hoping I could find some support here from ladies who've been doing this as long (or longer) than I have. I'm also the Co-host of the TTC board, btw. Any other questions, just ask!

Hi and welcome! I'm so very sorry for your losses. I do think you are on the right track with your new doctor-- someone definitely needs to listen to your concerns rather than passing them off as bad luck! Geesh!
I'm Jackie (28), DH is Jon (29), and we've been ttc our first since December 2007.

Hi Jacque! I'm Aimee (26) and DH is Adam (26) Long story short, we started trying in Oct. 2008, found out in Aug. 2009 that DH has 0 sperm count, had a failed IVF cycle in Dec. 2009 and DH is currently on Clomid to try and increase his sperm production. It sounds like you are def on the right track with your new dr. and I wish you a speedy sticky BFP!!!

Hi Jacque!!! Im Ashley and my DH is Jason and we have been TTC our first for a little over a year. We have had 4 very early losses and finally went to see an RE at the end of last year and was diagnosed with heterozygeous MTHFR mutation. My RE is pretty confident that is the reason for our losses, as all of my other bloodwork came back absolutely normal as did DH's and his SA as well. SO I am on Folgard (4mg folic acid, extra B6 & B12) prenatal (another 1mg) and baby aspirin. My RE also told me when I get pregnant I may go on blood thinning injections instead of the baby aspirin because it is more effective, im so shocked your OB told you not even to worry about the baby aspirin! What a nut!
Good Luck!! I hope you get your sticky BFP very soon!
