Have you ever met an online friend in real life? How did it go?

sure have!

I've met several....

First was someone from my playroom and my husband and I stayed with their family while we were moving, and again when I moved AGAIN.

Then again was someone else from my playroom (CHRISTINA!) and we went to dinner, and she let us stay the night there (which was awesome, and so sweet!) when we were going to San Antonio to see DH graduate basic training. I felt bad I had to leave so early and didn't get to spend more time!

Then I met someone from the Teen Mommies board and her DH and her DD, and we went to dinner. She lives near me, and is one of my best friends IRL now!

And another neighbor here who lives in town I also know from Teen Mommies! We've hung out a few times too, our boys are the same age.

Wow! Lots of ladies from JM- aweseome! I have met three people from on-line, actually all guys. One I met when I was a teenager (on-line, IRL much later) and we were in a Spina Bifida Teens Group. He's still a good friend today. The other two were on-line matches- neither worked out- not my type at all!

I met Marci (Oreobaby) from TTC #1 when she came through town last summer. It was great!

We've gone to a video game get-together twice in the last 3 years where we met a bunch of our xbox live buddies. We stayed 3 nights last year, and it was amazing. They are just as awesome IRL as they are online. That's what we'll be doing in Cincinnati in June. It's great- even if I am the only girl that goes.
