We have been TTC since September. We're going on cycle #7 now. I did have a baby this past summer, so maybe that threw things off, but I got AF back very soon after. I really wanted Irish Twins...but obviously that's not happening! I have an appt. with my obgyn tomorrow for the good ol' annual checkup, so maybe I will ask her what's up with me then. It took us 6 months last time to conceive, although we also tried several other times without any luck. I hope there's something she can tell me that will help us figure out how to get pregnant faster. I almost wish there was something wrong with me so I would know WHY it hasn't happened yet. I'm the worlds most impatient person. Everyone else in my family and around me gets pregnant if their hubby sneezes on them (lol). I try and it doesnt happen.

So as nice as you all are, I'm hoping that I won't fall under this category too long.

Welcome. I'm Jes (26) and DH is 27. We've been TTC #1 for 7 cycles now (or 8 months-either way) and NTNP for about 9 months before that. We are dealing with some minor MFI, so that's been real fun, but apparently it's just supposed to take "just a little longer than normal," according to the uro. We'll see, I suppose!

I hear ya with being the most impatient person ever. You think and consider having a child, and after you decide to, you are ready right then and there! Who would have thought it would take months to actually happen? Makes me regret spending all that time worrying about whether or not I took my birth control pills back in college-- ha!

Hope to hear some good news from your appt today! Good luck.

Doc asked me "you still wanting to get pregnant right away?". I said "Yep". Well, at least she didn't yell at me or call me crazy. hehe. She seemed to think it was ok and told me to come back when I'm pregnant.

Anyways, she nothing looks or feels wrong with me and it's probably taking longer because I did breastfeed for a bit over 4 months. Blah.

I'm starting to feel hopeless though. This coming Tues. is my estimated O day, and I don't know if we'll even be able to get in BDing. My hubby had knee surgery on Wed. and is all worried he'll hurt himself. He's totally fine though, and the surgery wasn't that major..just some torn cartilage they took out. I hope he feels better about it tomorrow.... *sigh*
