I got a great call back already today from my u/s and b/w!!! I am triggering tonight!!! I will trigger at 9pm sharp, then my retrieval is at 8:30am Tuesday morning!!!!!!! It does feel like it went fast, but that's because I only had to do 7 days of stimming! On average, ladies with my RE have to do 10-12, so my ovaries must be overachievers!

My numbers today:

LH- 2.1
Progesterone- 1.7
E2- 3454

Follies:
1- 20, 2- 19s, 2- 18s, 2- 17s, 4- 16s, 2- 15s, 2- 13s. What's funny is all but 4 of those are on my right ovary!

I'm feeling "meh" right now. I'm super excited, but physically drained. DH and I had just gotten back from a quick stop at Panera Bread on our way back from the hospital and had just laid down in bed to take a quick nap (we're both drained from all of this)... I no sooner started to dose off for 15 minutes and the phone rang with these results! I went back, told DH, and said "there's no way I can sleep now!!" and ran downstairs. I'm SOOOOO bloated and my ovaries are so sore, but I'm just so happy they have done what they were supposed to do!

That's my update in a nutshell!!!

Out of my 10 retrieved eggies....


9 were mature....


and 8 fertilized!!!

I'm so happy about that!! So now I just have to wait until tomorrow morning at this time again and call to see how they are developing! It's very normal that all of them won't make it to transfer, but I'm praying that most of them do!!! I can't believe I have 8 little embabies in a lab right now. This one pulls my heart-strings for sure!!!

I just got the info from the embryologist and everything is looking good! They wanted to see them be at least 2 cells today, and I got more than that!

I have five 4-cell embies, one 3-cell embie, and two 2-cell embies!

Soo exciting Jackie!! I hope you get lots of good eggies on Tuesday! I will be thinking about you! Yay for only 7 days of stimming too!!

Hi ladies. I'm back home and on bed rest for the day (yay), so I wanted to update.

They ended up getting 10 eggs. When my RE told me that, I started bawling... then each time the nurse checked on me for the first 15 minutes, I just bawled my eyes out. I know that 10 is good, but I just had it in my head that we'd end up with more- I can't explain it. But all in all, I started to feel better about it all. It sounds like out of my 15 measurable follies, only 10 actually had eggies in them, so that's why the number difference.. Oh well- I have to call the office in the late morning tomorrow to talk with the folks in the embryologist's office to get our fertilization report. I am so so praying that most of them fertilize........... I can't stress that enough. I'm trying to relax, but it's tough not knowing what's going on in that dish at the lab! I'm feeling ok, just very tired a little light headed. While we were there, we did my first injection of Progesterone (the 1 and 1/2 needle into the butt muscle!). The nurse explained everything to DH, and he did great. Hopefully it'll be just as "easy" here at home without the guidance of the wonderful nurse.

Ok, well it's nap time (I'm exhausted).... I'll definitely update tomorrow late morning when I get my fertilization report. Please pray for embies.
