TTC 7th month

Hey ladies, I'm new to this section of the board. I'm Sarah, DH is Charlie. We were married 9/5/09 and have been TTC since then. We are on our 7th month of trying but only Cycle#4. I recently found out I have PCOS and we are also dealing with Male Factor Infertility. Just had our first appt with the RE this week and our plan is to try naturally for 3 cycles with Clomid, then 3 cycles of IUI with Clomid and then move to IVF (hopefully we won't get this far!).

I have to have an HSG done my next cycle and then start Clomid. While we were at the doc he did an ultrasound and said I had a follicle that was 11mm and I should O within 5-7 days. Well that would be tomorrow or Wed. I've been using OPKs but I can't seem to get a clear positive and then the line fades for a few days. I just read online that having PCOS can cause this! UGH! So I'm not testing anymore and just waiting until next Monday and if I haven't Od by then I will be calling the RE back

Anywho, that's my story for now and I hope to get to know you all

Welcome!!!! i'm sorry it's taking you longer to ttc. we all know how difficult that is here!!!! most of us here have been trying for WAY longer than 6 months. But we love it here so much, we stay!!! I am going to see an RE too! I hope you have success with your next cycle so you don't have to worry about the rest!!! welcome again!!!

Welcome to the club. My dh and I have been trying for 7 months also. Hopefully since you know what you're up against and have a plan of attack, things will work out and you'll have a BFP soon. Good luck!

Hang in there. We ttc for a year before our DH came along. I got a positive test on Christmas Eve, best present ever.

Welcome! Sorry you are at the point where this group applies, but it's a great group of ladies who are supportive and very helpful! We are also on our 7th cycle and I have PCOS as well....keep your head up! It's difficult, but it will happen for you!!!

Hi, It is my hubby and my 7th month trying as well. Hope you get pregnant soon; wish me luck too! I have been married since feb. 07. I was waiting till the right time and i was naive and thought it would happen right away....i'm very impatient and it is hard to wait.....anyway good luck!
