They got 24 eggs - 20 of which were mature. Unfortunately Jason's sperm concentration was low so the embryologist recommended that we do ICSI. She'll call me again tomorrow with the fertilization report.
The procedure itself went well. The left ovary extraction was really uncomfortable and they gave me extra drugs for that. But I've recovered quickly. No nausea or light headedness. But I am really crampy, they say that's normal. I was so hungry after the procedure that we went out for lunch.
Fingers crossed for a good report tomorrow! I'd love to have lots to freeze.
OMG HOw exciting Kim! That is an awesome number of eggs! I'll for sure be saying lots of prayers for you and your eggies!!!! Ahhh! I'll definitely have to check back for more updates asap!!!
