I actually feel scared that it is almost 2 yrs

I know that sounds stupid but its a milestone i really hope not to hit.
My mum ttc me for 10yrs and now we almost counting ttc in years too
i feel frightened that history may repeat itself

Do you girls think fertility issues could run in families...?

Sorry for moaning. Just had to vent.

Sarah

Have you been to the Dr? I would go and get checked and talk to him about how long you have been trying and see if he can do anything. I know if I had kept on TTC and not gone to the DR then I would not have got my BFP.

I am never away from the Dr...
I went for a U/S last summer which was fine...
Then Db had his S/A which was upsetting as his motility is just 20%.
The dr says we can still conceive it would take longer though...
Then i went for a blood test 2 mths ago and showed no sign of ovulating,
As my progtesrone levels where extremely low.
I am going Dr on fri to DEMAND to be referred to a fertility clinic.
Its about time they aided us a little. I want CLOMID
so at least that way even though DB has his probs,
We will stand more chance if mine are sorted out KWIM?

Thanks girls.
Wish me luck!

Sarah

well it sounds like you know what the prob is and im shocked your dr has done any referals? If your going to a GYN they should be able to prescribe you clomid and they also have clomid for men that help with that situation. Also before starting clomid you should ask for an HSG to be positive that once you start taking the clomid and it helps you ovulate that the egg can get into the tubes and that the troops can make it to the egg. you know cross your t's and dot your i's. Also i would suggest seeing a new GYN thats what i did and the first appt my HSG was scheduled. With 23 cycles your doc should be more involved bc pg is still very much an option and hun dont stress about the whole 10yr thing we have technology that wasnt available to your mother then so get your doc on the ball to utilize it. I hope you can get something going soon. GOOD LUCK!! and if you ever need to talk pm me.
