Hi everyone,

I guess I belong here now I have been trying to conceive #2 for 7 cycles now, just starting cycle #8. I am 28 and DH is 32.

When I was ttc with my DD it only took 3 months, so this has caught me off guard. My DD is now 9 months old (I was hoping that they would be less than 2 years apart but who knows, time goes by soo quickly).

After I delivered my DD I had a bad infection that put in the hospital on IV antibiotics for 4 days and then another 3 weeks of oral antibiotics, so I am worried that I had PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) that is preventing ovulation. I did however, get my GP to agree to blood tests this month to see if this is what is happening.

Can't wait to meet all of you

HI and welcome!!! i'm sorry you are having some troubles conceiving! we all here know what that's like! i am lynda and I have been TTC for over two years now. I recently went through my 4th miscarriage.

You should try temping and charting. That too will give you an idea of whether or not you are ovulating. fertility friend is a great website/tool for charting. there is information there if you would like. otherwise we here can help too!!! I wish you much success in a very short timeframe!!!!!
