Hi! I posted here briefly a little over 2 years ago when TTC our first child and got pregnant shortly afterwards on cycle #7. We never prevented at all after our son was born and were hoping to have our first two kids really close together, but breastfeeding kept us out of the official TTC game until our son was 10 months old when I finally weaned him in order to bring back AF and have a real chance at getting pregnant. That was a little over 6 months ago. You get the whole "Breastfeeding is not birth control " speech alot when you have a baby, but the truth is it was turbo-mega birth control for us

. My cycles haven't gotten back to "normal" yet 6 months after weaning So while we've only been officially trying for 6 cycles, we've been hoping to get pregnant for about a year now. We have tried almost everything in the last 6 months and are pretty discouraged that it hasn't happened yet. I chart, do OPKs, we use preseed, mucinex, instead cups, and have tried soy isoflavones, etc. with no luck. Since I'm charting I know we have been BDing on my most fertile days, so it's pretty discouraging when you look back on your chart and can see that you really SHOULD be pregnant by now. When TTC #1 we got pregnant the first cycle we used preseed and mucinex and really thought we had figured out what it took to get me pregnant, but I guess not

.
I've also had some issues with left-sided sciatic pain from ovulation until AF and have been to the doctor about that without a lot of answers. I did have an MRI which shows that my uterus is really retroflexed (tipped backwards towards my spine), but my doctor says that has absolutely nothing to do with my pain or my difficulty in conceiving. DH is going to be getting a SA in the next few weeks and then we'll find out if everything is good on his end.
So anyway, that's me!

I also post on the general TTC board but thought maybe I could relate better here at this point. I look forward to getting to know you all!
