No details according to their official website. Gossip reporters are speculating that they got help. Being realistic, she probably did need help with her age. They are only have one baby btw - some rumors of twins were going around.

I had wondered about the details as well. I'm happy for them though no matter how they got pregnant.

Lynda- Don't worry about a woman not being able to get pregnant on their own at an advanced age... my aunt got pregnant at like age 40 and 46 I think.

I'm not so sure that she is pregnant. They never actually said that she was. All they said is that they're expecting a new addition to the family. It makes me wonder if they're using a surrogate - and if so, why hide it? I would think that if she is pg they would be announcing "Kelly's pregnant at 47!!"

Good for them! My cousin had her daughters at 40 and 42! Based on what i learned from an RE, after 45 they pretty much always recommend IVF due to poor egg quality. Of course everyone is a unique individual, maybe they were able to do it naturally (especially since they are Scientologists, right?). I'm happy for them either way.

I can understand that... I don't think I conveyed myself very well when I posted my post originally... it sounded like I was calling you Old, which you are totally not!
